The Kahrs Linnea collection, is a series of seven different styles of flooring, with the top layer being made out of either oak or walnut.
Grouped in two different lines, either the living collection or the habitat collection, these floors are 1/4" thick, with the top layer made out of wood and the core material being HDF.

Who Are the Kahrs Linnea Floors For?
If you are a real estate investor or a first time home buyer, with a busy social life, looking to turn your new property into an unique place in the heart of Chicago, while doing it all on a small budget, Kahrs linnea is definitely the floor for you.
These stunning, single plank, wood floors will turn your cozy condominium into a one of a kind, unwinding nest.
Also, if for whatever reasons, you cannot install a floor that is over 1/4" thick, Linnea Kahrs Floors are the floors to go for.

When is Kahrs Linea Flooring not a Good Fit?
If you're looking for an engineered floor, that is thick and cand be sanded a few times, Kahrs linnea is not the collection to go for.
If sandable floors is what you're going after, you might wanna take a look at either Kahrs Avanty, Original or Supreme collections.
Kahrs Spirit line is also supposed to be sandable once, but you better hire a very experienced floor contractor, whenever it's time to sand it, or else, a novice might destroy your Kahrs Spirit floor.
What Kind of Warranty Will You Get on Your New Kahrs Linnea Floor?
Kahrs Linnea are guaranteed to last for a minimum of 12 years in a normal, residential environment.
My floors were damaged by water when I was on vacation. I replaced them with Kahrs Oak Stone flooring provided by Chicago Flooring Innovations. Daniel was knowledgeable, responsive, and his team did a high quality job.
In a stressful situation, I was impressed that he always responded to emails or text messages almost instantly. I had a lot of questions about the process. Also, he was great about proactively communicating status and even texted pictures during the day.
The work itself was done professionally. Furniture was moved around carefully and drop cloths were used to protect both furniture and counters. The space was always cleaned at the end of every work day. The floors themselves look amazing. There are no quality issues.

What Kind of Look Should You Expect from Your Linnea Floor?
As I mentioned before, if you'll choose a Kahrs Linnea product, you're looking at either Oak or Walnut, 4 5/8" wide, micro-beveled board.
The floors are usually matte finished, either wire brushed, smoked or standard look.
However, if there is one thing each Linnea Kahrs floor has, it is their elegance.
Every single one of these floors, look like a 10 - 12$ a square feet floor, while being priced way, way below that.
